2. Have you ever made a wrong or bad choice and then later you could have kicked yourself for being so gullible and stupid? One that comes to my mind is when my wife and I decided in the 1990s to buy a Kirby vacuum cleaner from a friend of a neighbor. It was a time when our 4 kids were in high school and we really had zero money, but it was only $39.99 a month for 3 years!

That would be like $100 or more a month today! I grew up in the 1960s knowing it was a good brand and even though we could not afford it, somehow we got convinced to buy it. So month after month for 3 years we suffered to find the money to pay for it. I now look upon this as something we did without prayer. All of us are vulnerable to make huge mistakes without prayer and asking the Lord what to do about every decision in life.

Here is the problem, we are conditioned since are children by the media and the government schooling to just go along and accept whatever is presented to you whether it is fake or real, right or wrong, helpful or destructive. Subliminally we are conditioned to believe, ‘Resistance is futile’! People who want to make money from you, exploit you, control you, and gain advantage from your naivety are aggressively, intimidatingly, and harmfully trying to make you be their next victim. But, if you have God’s Holy Spirit, you may have a chance to escape! This involves what happens to your body and mind, and your soul’s destiny, whether it will be on the path to heaven or to hell!

3. The world’s people and countries are on edge from this recent virus, are they not? What happens to people under stress? When a person is in confusion from contradictory messages, under duress from months of anguish not knowing how to keep on surviving, when the pressure has produced a breaking point, what occurs? That person makes irrational decisions; these are usually decisions that will provoke their own harm and self destruction! We are in dangerous times and we need the Holy Spirit guidance like never before! It comes by prayer and study! Also, ‘walking in the counsel of the Godly’ helps a lot! (Read Psalm 1)

Just like how my wife and I were in the predicament of being pressured by a salesman that you must sign now, you must commit, this is the only opportunity, tomorrow we can’t offer this deal ever again, we, as weak humans, not guided by God in all our decisions, cave to the bullying of the people of the world who just won’t go away until they have pocketed you and got you under their thumb! A vacuum cleaner is one thing, but the decisions about to be made right now in the near future will repercussively affect not just the destiny of our minds and bodies, but of our souls!

Here is a warning from God which applies to all people who do not obey His righteous statutes, Deuteronomy 28:20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.

4. History proves to us time and again that when certain people or a previously God respecting nation stop obeying God, when the people become prideful, arrogant, and God defying and produce a rat on your neighbor, rat eat rat environment, the Lord allows them to fall under the curse of a self-destructive punishment. When you sew to the wind, you reap the whirlwind! Hosea 8:7.

One of the curses is the confusion of not being able to distinguish right from wrong, male from female, or healthy from unhealthy. The disobedient to God seem to always fall under a destruction that comes from the collective wickedness of the entire murderous, exploitive, Satanic system governing from around the world in ‘high places’. (Eph. 6)

We can talk all day about where a virus originated, about whether it is man-made or animal transmitted but none of it matters if there is not a resolve on how to live Godly so that God blesses each of us with His protection. Exodus 15:26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” Deuteronomy 7:15 And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.

5. You and I will be faced with some life altering decisions in the very near future. You will be pressured to cave and be silent to the new draconian totalitarian ‘new normal’ which means that you will be tracked and spied upon by different means, one being an app on your iphone, because it was mandated for your own good to control the spread of any flu virus. And now there are previously prestigious hospitals training people on how to hunt down everyone you have ever met up with because you have had the potential to spread the virus. The so called ‘protective services’ will take your kids away, and you will be forced into confinement. Doesn’t this bring Nazism to mind?! Christians had better toughen up and be Spirit led for all that is happening!

The world’s contradictory statements and confusion over the virus are these:

1. Mass testing is needed (but there are many false positives), and where it has been done it reveals that up to a quarter of us have already had it

2. That once you have had it, it can reoccur again at any time making you a labeled threat to your workplace and community (applying the police must make sure you self-quarantine)

3. You must accept that hospitals and noisy neighbors will now spy on you and denounce you when they like so you are rounded up (What happened to HIPPA?!)

4. You will accept that any fever or high temperature read by your workplace or by a drone flying over your head downtown will flag you as ‘Covid positive’ therefore marking you for immediate arrest to be placed in quarantine

5. You and I will be striped of travel and other privileges unless new credentials that prove you have submitted to their vaccine solutions (In the works in several cities).

6.You and I will be expected to just go back into self-isolation shut down mode anytime the global authorities claim the virus is once again active in the world.

Our current situation really looks like a nightmarish sci-fi movie, does it not? It has been Satan’s dream for centuries to psych people with fear to the point they will accept Him and his beast control system as humanity’s salvation. Some Christians do see through his recent deceptions and tricks but those without God’s Holy Spirit are infected with the virus of the ‘world’s spirit’ and these are the new victims, the useful idiots, the fearful ones Satan uses to subdue all resistors to his ‘new world order’. Revelation 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

6. We all desperately need the Holy Spirit! Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Do you want to ask God for His Holy Spirit right now? You should, let’s pause and ask Him…(prayer)

There are many verses on the Holy Spirit, but I just want you to know that, ‘the Spirit will guide you into all truth’, it will ‘comfort you’ when in any trouble, and it will ‘give you power’ to be a testimony for Jesus. I can say that at one time when young I was very afraid of being looked upon as an fanatical church idiot. I was prideful and wanted to fit in with the vain false crowd and now I ask myself, how could I have been so dumb and deceived to think those unloving, vain stupid people were cool? They never would have accepted me, an ordinary Joe! The people of the world are always too busy stepping on heads to climb the ladder of success to care what happens to you or me! If you want to find authentic loving caring people, it will only be in the band of a few Christians.

The Holy Spirit power is what solves all our spiritual needs! One of the greatest needs right now is the discernment of what is truth and what is not. Should you trust your health, your financial income, and your future by doing what certain authorities with horrible abusive records mega say to do? Unless the person speaking is a Christian and has good fruits in his past, then you should not listen and you should do the opposite of what is suggested. Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

7. It is a big challenge to let the Holy Spirit rewire your habits and way of thinking. Almost everyone I know are so proud they can never accept that I, or anyone, could ever offer them any good advice. It is a sad reality but too many Christians have never asked God to fill them with His Holy Spirit, to smash and break them, like the clay in the hands of the potter, to be remade into the image of Jesus. Ask God today to remake you, rewire you, and to most of all not let you do any decision without His Holy Spirit ‘s guidance!

Jude 1:10 But these (the people of the world without God’s Spirit) speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.

Today we are appalled at how so many people make irrational decisions, like a dumb animal, and like a parrot, they repeat to their friends and family the enslaving loathsome messages of the world that all must submit to the ‘new’ system?! And those not ‘with the program’ get censured and persecuted! John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

8. Better it is to be loved by God and saved for eternity than to be loved by the world’s debauched perverts who only want to use you and then throw you away like garbage! Better it is to let God lead you than the old serpent Satan who only offers pleasures and wealth for a short time before he drags you into the lake of fire and punishment reserved for the unrighteous.

Luke:11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

These verses describe exactly what is happening today. The masses of people are living in uncertainty and confusion, they are hungry for love, for a comforting peace, for truth, for reality, and what does the world offer them? A cold stone of nothing! Solutions that are fake and a scam from the world’s evil rich serpent worshipping bloodlines! Solutions from the nation of the flying serpent that hates God and jails and kills Christians at will! Which do you want, the serpent’s spirit, or the Holy Spirit?

9. We are in desperate times! Christians with the Holy Spirit see the reality, liquor stores are open, abortion clinics are open, the rich circulate as they please while ‘we the people’ are being told that the churches must remain closed and that we must stay at home and that ‘for our own good’?! We knew a totalitarian draconian ‘new world order’ was coming but did we ever imagine that it would be implemented with such velocity?

So while you are alone, do you pray and experience God’s presence? He speaks into your mind His Word, His comfort, and His peace. When I pray or write sermons verses come into my mind, and that is God’s Spirit. Every Christian needs to ask God for this kind of an experience! John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The only alternative to being guided by God’s Spirit is to be guided by the confusing serpent’s spirit of the world! Christians please get serious with God and read His Word as never before! Don’t be ignorant to deceptive ones who will entrap you for their own benefit! Only the strong survive, that is the ones strong in Jesus! We can be empowered by something far greater than ourselves, and that is with the Holy Spirit! Ask for it and believe, and you will perceive, speak, and act in the way God wants you to. The Salvation Army Mothers

Eph 6:2-3

2 "Honor your father and mother"-which is the first commandment with a promise- 3 "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

2. The other day a woman applied for her driver’s license and the lady at the window asked her what her profession was. She said that she was a:

Research Participant on the behavior of infants in domestic and communal environments. The woman giving the driver’s test not really understanding exactly what profession that was asked her, can you explain that in plain language? The woman replied; “I am a mother!”

3. God expects mothers to be strong characters that defend what is right and raise their children in the word of God! They must be influencers and leaders in society. The founder of the Salvation Army had a strong character, and Catherine, his wife and mother of their children, had a very strong character too! Listen to this example of what happened in a street sermon open air one time.

4. A man hearing Catherine Booth’s sermon shouted, “Shut up! You are a woman, you need to keep silent, it says in the Bible for the woman to be silent in the church!” Being full of the spirit she replied, “Well young man, to begin with I am not in a church, I am on the street, and second Paul wrote that only to the women in the Corinthians, and I am not aCorinthian, and third, in the same chapter Paul, recommends that the men remain single as he was, but I see you have a wife!” It became his turn to keep silent!

5. This heckler was not respecting her and the problem in society is that we are not teaching people enough how to respect women, mothers and the word says: 2 "Honor your father and mother"-which is the first commandment with a promise- 3 "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." This implies life will not be good for you if you do not honor both of them!

6. Did you know when the Salvation Army was founded in 1865 that 60 to 70% of the initial members were young mothers and they were valiant preachers too! And today in this Corps, we expect the mothers to be leaders to their children, and leaders in society too winning many souls to Jesus! It is selfish and boring to just be home, get out and spread Christian family values and salvation in Jesus!

7. Paul states that men and women, fathers and mothers, are spiritually the same in Christ. Gal. 3:28. Gal 3:27-28

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. The sad thing is few churches practice this, only the true ones do!

8. Christianity is a liberating and socially just religion because it teaches us to honor and respect! However, for more than 80% of the women today in the entire world are under other religions or communism, and the word woman or mother is virtually synonymous to the word slave! In China today still millions of girls are aborted or abandoned each year because the husband and government want boys! Pagan worshippers never respect women or mothers and this is a disrespect to God who created everyone!

9. But it should not be that way with Christians! Christians both men and women have been bringing more light and liberation through the centuries. In the Renaissance era of the 1600’s more respect for women and mothers awakened due to the actually reading of God’s word which had not been read by the common people before!

In all cultures, mothers, being more defenseless and weak, are often the oppressed sufferers who need to be defended and helped by those who have the power positions to do so. It is your and my job as husbands, fathers, and sons to honor mothers! They may be weaker in some areas but they need our support! They sacrifice everything for you and me!

10. It is often the women throughout history that have been the ones to bring about a real change in society, in their homes, and with their children! In the mid 1800’s in England, there was terrible corruption, in particular in the poor areas of town like in East London; even children used to buy liquor at Gin houses where every house in five was a store that sold alcohol. Oppression, exploitation, adultery, thievery and alcohol addiction were the norm! And the women prayed with many to convert these lost dark souls to Jesus and it worked because they used tears!

The Salvation Army used to march in the streets with their instruments and then preach to the crowds (both men and women preached) but as you can imagine, they soon became not so popular. Those living in sin do not want anyone coming down their street to remind them that they should repent and not make more money selling liquor! Jesus made it clear that, “Because we are not of this world, therefore the world hateth you, John 15. Also, II Tim 3:12, “If any man will live Godly in Christ Jesus, he shall sufferpersecution.”

11. But why did those women preachers and mother’s have so much success?

700 souls in the street one day, and 500 the next? It is because they sincerely loved the people they were preaching to!

If you don’t know the power of water, wait until you experience a woman’s tears! And women are often the first to start serving others in need!

Their sermons were powerful, and as William Booth said, ”When all else fails, try tears!”

The Salvation Army has dozens of thousands of buildings all around the world to prove their love for mothers, children and others that are weak by providing shelters for the homeless where children can stay, safehouses to escape the danger of leaving the lifestyle of prostitution, drug- alcohol rehab centers, health clinics, boarding schools, and international causes that contribute to free others from oppression both men and women!

12. You have seen the hats the women use in the Army? Before they use to be bonnets, which would protect them from the cold, but do you know what else it protected them from? All the tomatoes and eggs and things the evil people would throw at them while they would preach the gospel on the streets! There are many accounts of their tears being shed for the lost and it touched people’s hearts to know they were being loved by God and by them despite the evil! When there is resistance, it proves a lot of effectiveness is happening!

Only the Holy Spirit can touch hearts to accept Christ, but we all must learn the lesson of letting ourselves get out of the way so Jesus can shine through! The Bible describes the woman as the weaker vessel and also we know God “chose the weak things of the world to confound the wise.”

13. Each person is different and we must learn to accept and respect each person. We must learn to value who we are in God and be thankful for how God has made us different and find our place in his body.

You are all serving in many ways! And another thing about all the original soldiers of the Salvation Army (the ones I told you were 70% women), did you know they were people from the ordinary working class that worked in factories? And the English were very class discriminatory at that time!

(Many of the them still are) God uses the foolish things to confound the mighty!

I know many of you here may think, I can never do anything big for God because I don’t know much, I am just a worker. Or a mother may think, I cannot do anything with a bunch of little kids at my feet. But history proves the contrary, women, and anyone can change a whole society if they work together! KD

14. .Jesus will make you and me smarter and braver and, if we will put our pride away and die to our selves, he will use us mightily and give us rewards in heaven! Jesus said to take up your cross and follow Him! I don’t know about you, but I want to live with Jesus forever in Heaven and any family or friend that we lose now cannot compare to what will be ours for eternity!

Also, if we deny Him here on earth, (either by not telling others about Him or by our poor example) He will deny us before His father in heaven. Take a stand today to be bold and courageous like the founders of the Salvation Army!

Because one man and one woman obeyed the calling of God about 150 years ago, today we have the great work of the Salvation Army that saves hundreds of thousands of souls every year! But you must do your part as a soldier of this Army in this community! Have you prayed with someone lately to accept Jesus? Let’s pray for the mothers who teach their kids!

John 17: 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

2. How many of you have ever tried Yoga? Some yoga exercises are good to tone the body. I practiced it with discipline when I was in college. I sat in the lotus position to meditate and empty my mind for 1 to 2 hours daily. My adopted guru teacher was Baba Ram Das, (he actually visited Ok State while doing a tour) and his theme, as most, was that we meditate and allow ourselves to be lost into ‘the one’. This implies that God is a Oneness, that all things are a facade composed of 3 parts of energy, and we must abandon our identities and bodies to be nothing but a dissolved energy into the ‘oneness’ of God. We start the process here on earth and finish after we die.

At first it sounds good and spiritual, right? But it actually is impossible due to the fact that each person, being a separate creation of God, has a unique identity which cannot be absorbed and eliminated into an etherical oneness in the ‘here and now’, nor can it be in the ‘there and then’. There is a heavy battle going on in the Spirit and it is over who God is; Which is “the one” you are uniting with?

It is a presumptuous deception that after death our souls will float down the Styx River and then be absorbed and lost forever into the oneness of the energy at the end, identified as the light, or sun, historically. The illuminator or the sun, A.K.A. as Ra, Apollo, & Helios, has been worshipped as God since the deception in the Garden of Eden. This idea, which is a worship of a creation instead of the creator perverts the ‘light bearer’ concept. Current secret societies honor this lucifer, or ‘god of light’, which is supposedly the one which brings illumination. But the ‘light’ presented by them, and all other false religions throughout history, is a perversion and a lie because only God and Jesus are the true light.

3. I cannot exclude the fact that my current messages include the obvious, and that is of what the Covid 19 crisis is provoking. The repercussions are not just on the sick ones, or the families of the ones who pass on, it is about how we are all forced into a lifestyle change, forming new habits of cleanliness. And notice how extremely negative the economic impact is affecting everyone in ways never imagined! Our food supply is already reduced, previous jobs are now absent, and everyone is at the mercy of their governor’s orders?! What a totalitarian mess!

And have you thought about how this is impacting us spiritually? Both God and Satan never let a crisis go to waste. The pandemics in ancient Egypt proved God’s power to protect the Hebrews was a supernatural force that no one could beat or recon with. Did some Egyptians repent? For sure several did! But later when the Hebrews lost their faith and became idol worshippers and rebellious God allowed other idol worshippers, their pagan neighbors, to kill them and take many away as slaves. At that point pagans inspired by Satanic religions, thought they were the powerful dominant ones beating God Jehovah’s followers. But Satan only wins temporarily when God has a greater purpose for allowing certain temporary circumstances.

Here is the unreported, the ignored, the repercussion that you are not hearing about, that this virus crisis is causing people to either get closer to God for faith, consolation, or strength, or they are turning more to the world absorbing more of its garbage. The media of this evil world always seem to offer people either southing go-to-sleep rhetoric and /or inflammatory lying rhetoric pushing you into someone’s camp. The media and the globalist tech giants offer us the setting up of a totalitarian global state as a solution so no one without a Covid 19 test or a vaccine can circulate in public. Are you comforted by that control? I am not, I am very disturbed that these new ‘rules’ overriding basic freedoms, our constitution, our local laws, and our common sense! Just a week ago there was proof given that millions have had it and lived! We cannot survive in a state of quarantine for months, then years, just because a few people in power want it based on false evidence or some hidden agenda!

4. So being the spiritual creatures that we are (God made us this way) we depend on words, music, and spiritual connections to gain strength from something outside of ourselves to survive moments of uncertainty and crisis. You, being a Christian, gain strength from prayer, God’s Word, The Holy Spirit within you, and from your brothers and sisters who talk with you when you desire. John 17:23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

In other words, right now should be a time of spiritual growth for many people in many nations, Finally there is a time out time to read the Bible, and to pray, and to connect with the things of God separated from the busy-ness of the world. I hope you are growing and getting comfort because the alternative is to sit around worried all day distracted in a comatose state of anxiety and fear! The people of the world experience that, but never should the Christian!

So if we are getting closer to Jesus then we are becoming more at one with Him and His will for us. It is natural that overtime when you are with someone you become adapted and become more ‘at one’ with them. This happens with some couples who have God’s love in the middle, while others, when one or both are still full of the world’s garbage dominated by lusts, selfish greed, and pride between them, then the disunity becomes unbearable. This proves it is important who you connect to! To appreciate the amazing wealth of good Jesus offers, all we have to do is look at the horrible evil the so called leaders of the world offer us!

5. No one is sitting still right now, you are being moved either with the current or you are going against the current! The ones who planned this event (Search and investigate ‘Event 201’) schemed and hoped for the submission of the world’s 7 billion people to come bowing at their feet to save them! Observe the presumptuous outcries: ‘We need a global vaccine; We need a global government to control people; We need a new global economy’. Is that so?! Do you want that?! This implies that every nation, every culture, and everything your society enjoys such as the freedom to choose your preferences in sports, music, education, food etc. must now be dissolved into the oneness of their new design!

There was even an “iheart Living Room Concert” done recently the end of March to raise millions of dollars to be put to use for the Covid 19 as a solution. Whose solutions, we ask? There were so called big artists such as ‘Lady Gaga’, ‘Elton John’ etc., and what was their theme? That all be ‘one’. ‘The world must unite as one’ was their message. ‘One’ into what? Their global agendas! Do you know what those are?! Side note: Lady Gaga at every concert at some moment always blurts out, “I hate the truth!” She must oppose John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. So to hate the truth implies she loves lies! And the Father of lies as well!

All the world is being funneled and corralled right now into a belief that a new ‘One World Order’ is the only solution to this pandemic, one which is not so big compared to other past ones. The chorus of all the selected famous (luciferian) musicians, media sources, big tech giants, medical spokespersons, puppet dictatorships, and globalists is that all must embrace their agendas for salvation.

6. So this recent event has been useful to Satan, he has been able to murder more people, cause people to live in isolation and fear, cause hearts to break because of elderly loved ones being on shut down, and create misery and starvation as governments control who can buy food at certain times and who can’t. He, and his minions in high places are breaking the world’s economy, food supply, and health systems, so that he can rebuild a new totalitarian hellish system through his global schemes.

It is the same old Hegelian dialect of divide and conquer. Satan and his people in high places observe a functioning system, they then interject a negative to counter the system, and then after the chaos, offer their solution. We saw this in how Nero set fire and burned Rome so he could rebuild it with his plans, and in the process he blamed the Christians for it so his soldiers could kill them! This pattern repeats and repeats itself throughout history and throughout all cultures.

7. So to counter such schemes of evil, it is imperative that you and I be ‘at one’ with Jesus or we do not have a chance for our survival! Remember this verse: Revelation 2:10(b) Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Any weak Christian not holding onto the rock of salvation is going to get swept away by the world’s current deceptions and lies.

Jesus prayed for you and me in John 17 to become one with Him and the Father. It is a universal prayer to cover His followers forever! And if we are not striving to ‘be one’ with Him, Satan will not let you alone until you join his crowd as they are deceptively enticing you to ‘be one’ with them. And to be ‘one’ with them is to embrace death, perversions, hate, and soul enslaving agendas! They deny their evil of course and claim to promote ‘love’, but they can never know ‘love’ because their god is not the one of love but of deception, carnality, death, and destruction!

There exists the love and light of God which Jesus gave us, and all we have to do is to accept it and then He with His Father will keep us protected forever. I want His ‘oneness’, it is the only pure oneness that brings peace and rest to the soul! And if you are one with Jesus you will be ‘one’ with your Christian brothers. Do you divide or unite? Criticize or support your Officers and brothers and sisters?

8. The fact remains that once you are ‘at one’ with Jesus no one can ever separate that relationship. Romans 8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Be warned! Warn others! The ‘one’ so called ‘love’ that the world offers is not real! It is fake love! It is fake ‘oneness’! Under this deception a whole agenda is ready to be set up to enslave and destroy humanity and it will make $ billionaires become $ trillionaires. Christians are the only ones who can offer an alternative, and we offer a ‘oneness’ with Jesus which creates the Kingdom of God on earth. And with Him in your soul you will have light so that you are not deceived by the world. (See all John 17) We are loved and protected by Jesus!

Don’t be like worldly Christians who get more worried about those amongst their brothers who are exposing evil than they are worried about evil itself being exposed! Expose the fact that none of their solutions will work and that only Jesus is the solution! Today, unite with Jesus, strive to be ‘one’ with Him! Pray for those who will come to believe in Jesus out of these hard times. When you have the true light and love in your soul uniting your spirit with Jesus, you will never trade that for an artificial ‘one’ with any another that the world offers. Prayer…

3 Types of Battles of Christian Soldiers by Capt. Kelly Durant (Re 4-26-20)1-10-16

2 Tim 2:3-4 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs-he wants to please his commanding officer.

2. In the trench warfare of WWI each side would make long trenches and no one could pass from one side to the other. The reason? Every time someone put their head up to try and run to attack, they would get shot at! The land between ally and enemy trenches was coined, “no man’s land” as no one could be there without getting shot! That is the way our enemy, Satan operates. As long as you stay comfortable in your trench he doesn’t bother you, but when you come out and get some victories for Jesus, or when you expose his sin spreading in the world, he attacks you. The attacks come in many different ways.

We are God’s soldiers and the only way to fight this war is to be disciplined! Discipline implies not being so busy with distractions that you are not battling which is what you enlisted for! What is our discipline? Prayer, the studying of the Word of God, and standing up for Biblical causes, obeying and proclaiming Jesus as the Savior and commander over all commanders is what wins the victories!

3. Soldiers, when you have a hard time standing for your Commanding Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, remember, when you are weak and can’t seem to get up, you should kneel! Kneel and get strength from outside yourself! Prayer works!

Remember also you are not in this war alone and there are more than 1 million Salvation Army Soldiers in the world! Statistics claim there are more that two billion Christians too! In this Corps everyone does pray and care for those who are weak and in need.

I sincerely hope all of you are praying for each other. If you are a friend and a help to someone, they, or someone else God will send, will be a friend with you! We must be communicating during the week, supporting and loving each other helping with each other’s needs in the same way the disciples watched out for each other!

4. The Salvation Army uniform can be taken as symbolic as being in service to Jesus similar to what Paul talks about in. Eph 6:12-18

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

5. These are the classic verses on being prepared for battle and it was the uniform of the Soldier in Jesus time. We must pay attention to these verses and do what it says or we might get a hit in a weak spot and it will take months to heal if it doesn’t kill us! Eternal security requires eternal vigilance!

The uniform helps you in battle, do you know how? It identifies you as representing a Kingdom and it is not a killing army, we are a saving army. We are at war with evil! Just as a firefighter in his uniform is prepared to fight fires, just as a policeman identifies himself as the keeper of the law, we as Christian Soldiers represent the fight for righteousness, purity, love serving the suffering ones!

Most of all we represent our Commander and Chief Jesus Christ! Everyday we fight for what is right! Even in heaven we will have a pure white uniform to wear reflecting the light and purity of God! So a uniform on earth is actually a good practice for wearing one in heaven!

6. As you know we do not train to fight with a rifle or a gun, we train to fight the enemy with the sword of the word of God, quoting scripture to the enemy, and after being resisted, he will flee from us! James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

In the verses in Timothy we see that we are to endure hardships, as the soldiers of the world do, for our Lord Jesus Christ. And when you think about when Paul was writing, the Romans had a very strict code of conduct, and they would march on foot for months carrying heavy metal armor and they suffered many hardships! Much worse than what anyone of us experience!

Today we will cover three basic battles or hardships a Soldier faces; The one with Satan in your head in yourself; the one with those close, your family & friends; and the one with the evil people of the world.

7. One of the first attacks, how our accuser and adversary confronts us, is with discouragement in our minds! You and I may be doing good for a while happy with Jesus, just like many that come awhile but then leave, because Satan, the tempter, will get into the head and feed any weak one with pride for your successes, or attack you over the opposite for your failures with discouragement. He tells you… look at you, you are a failure or he will say you are powerful like a God, and either extreme of exaltedness or debasement is not of God.

Often you and I are either tempted to think we do not need God since we are so smart or tempted to think that there is no God. It is human to get out of control and prideful or to sometimes feel abandonment, depression, or rejection! You know you are a sinner and hating on yourself, or anyone else for sin makes you destructive to yourself and to others! Satan always schemes to destroy and tries to make you confused in your mind, which will make you sick in your spirit, which will make you sick in your body as well!

So how will you get the will to fight from God then? You must yell in your mind and with words when needed, “Get behind me Satan! I claim the blood of Jesus!”

8. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

You will tell Satan, I am God’s child, I am invaluable since Jesus died for me to have eternal life, and any sin that I may have, Jesus has cleaned me from it! Jesus will heal my body, mind, and broken heart!

So the first battles with most Christians begins with your own evil self and discouragement; but remember Jesus will get the victory if you get encouragement from the Word, pray and get others to pray too, and you let God work doing your part!

9. Battle two: With others, you will have to be tough with those closest to you, with those people in your life, those in the church and those in your family.

Matt 10:34-36

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

When you live as a true Soldier for Jesus Christ, doing what is correct, pure, and Godly, you will get enemies without even trying! In both Regina and my families there are some people that have no desire whatsoever to see us because they know that we love God, and usually talk about the Bible, and since they love the things of the world more than the spiritual things, they do not want us around them making them feel uncomfortable. In this battle you will lose some friends and family, but you will gain others that are more helpful and loving than the ones you had before!

This church Corps, and all true churches, are like family! But sometimes there are brothers and sisters who say and do things in their carnal nature, not praying over their words, and they can confuse you if you do not have your eyes on Jesus! Never focus on the complainy soldier, focus on the ultimate commander, Jesus!

Remember, people will always fail you some Soldier go AWOL, but Jesus, He is a friend forever! Be prepared to have some bad experiences sometimes, it is a part of the battle. But God answers prayers, and blesses those who remain dedicated, pure, loving, and patient! Those who get off the trail, like the stray sheep, usually get hurt falling in some ditch before Jesus the shepherd brings them back.

10. And finally battle number 3, you will have war with the evil people of the world!

When the people who practice sin and do evil see peace and love in your face and eyes, and they see your deeds done from a servants heart full of compassion, it makes them angry and they want to attack you. Remember how the hypocrites wanted to kill Jesus! Some people want to see everybody sour and bitter, and angry at the world like they are! Never go to their level! Live in peace, turn the other cheek, but don’t let them destroy you! When necessary say, “I rebuke you in Jesus name!”

As Soldiers and Christians we have contrasting mindsets with those in the world and when we expose them then we are engaging in a spiritual war. 2 Timothy 3:13

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

The evil ones in the world love death, and war, and abortion but…

We love life, and peace, and children!

The evil ones in the world love exploitation, material wealth and pride but…

We love righteousness and justice for the poor, and we seek spiritual wealth, desiring to be humble!

The evil ones in the world love to accuse, condemn, hate and create scandal but…

We love forgiveness, like the prostitute forgiven by Jesus, we just let God deal with it!

11.The values of the world under its evil empires with its anti-Christian news outlets promote anti-Biblical values constantly! Bottom line, Satan hates Christians with a passion and he is at war with every one of us! There is a very active war of propaganda to destroy all values of purity and love by all means possible. It is by the promotion of the acceptance of perverse sexual behavior, the stripping away of human rights under totalitarian politics, and the demonization of the people of faith. There are continuous lying attacks on good people and it all comes from the powers that control behind the scenes.

Satan exalts everything that is totally diametrically opposed to God’s values insulting Jesus and all Christians. And notice, one does not win a defensive war. We all must speak out for God and His love, defending his basic principles that produce respect and dignity through high standards of values fighting for the right!

The Lord wants absolute love, dedication, and loyalty and His Kingdom exalted! And He is the only One who is worthy of fighting for! The very first commandment is to… Love God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind! But if you give your loyalty to men on this earth, they will always let you down and there are no rewards!

12. We are all blessed to be representing as soldiers Jesus the King of Kings! You have a Commander that is all loving, all forgiving, all-powerful, and he knows where you will best serve Him, and you must serve Him with honor. You and I must battle the enemy and obey His call! If we do not choose to be governed by God, then we will end up being governed by some tyrant on earth!

Just think how many people are stuck on this earth all of their lives as slaves to evil men and not to God! Satan wants to enslave every person with vices, crimes, temptations and sins, creating a sick body, mind, and spirit! Today we all are given an opportunity to serve the true God like never before!

We must fight with the truth to free the souls of men and or they will have hell to pay! You have to fight to keep your own soul and body strong in the Lord! Philippians 2:12

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

You are the chosen ones to represent your Lord in battle, so march forward to the prize of the high calling of God! Prayer…
