Mark 8: 27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?²⁸And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.²⁹And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.³⁰And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.³¹And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.³²And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. ³³But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

2. Today we are aware that Halloween is this weekend. And why are more and more Christians getting less unattracted to this pagan tradition? Why do some of us choose not to celebrate it? Is it because of how it is not just for fun anymore, but news reports reveal actual Satanists worship and sacrifice on this day? Through the years the costumes have gone from cartoonish to diabolical, right? 

There is no need for me to discuss in detail the practices and works of the devil, satan, or lucifer, on certain holidays; everyone knows of these and how they are manifest in each culture! We do associate satan with just this, pagan customs, and evil manipulative and fearful manifestations at certain marked times. 

Halloween is an easy target to identify, it is obviously playing around with the appearance of evil, even though most every child trick or treating is not engaged in satan worship. However, some people actually do worship satan on Halloween day, and others just take it as a dress up day. You and I reject it most out of it not being something lovely, pure, and virtuous but ugly, not exhaling worship to God, and we “avoid the appearance of evil”. 1 Tess. 5:22

Consider these verses Phil 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

3. Now back to Mark 8 and how satan comes at anytime. Have we ever examined this scripture before? First it starts off good. Peter is showing that he is the most spiritual, the best student, the most wise to answer. He answered in verse 29, “Thou art the Christ”! He was top of the group; he must have been proud of his confirmation by Jesus that he spoke well.

But then what happens? Jesus starts teaching of his death; he is teaching something supernatural, a prophecy about His rejection, trial, death and resurrection after 3 days. And what does Peter do? He thought he knew all the best answers, right?

Peter has the nerve to rebuke Jesus! Peter had just declared that He was the Christ, but now He is telling Christ that he is wrong to say what He is saying?! What nerve! So, what was Jesus’ reaction? He said to Peter, vs.33 Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savors not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

He rebukes Satan in Peter! That is a very strong rebuke! Let’s look at this a bit more.

4. I find there are only 3 times that Jesus addresses satan personally in the gospels. Jesus did teach about the works of the devil. One example is in John 10:10  ¹⁰The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

But the 3 times Jesus addresses the satan personally is: 1. When he is tempted in the dessert and He rebukes satan, 2. When he addresses him in Peter who is accusing Him 3. When he addresses him in Judas who is possessed, betraying, and scheming violence against him paid by the Sanhedrin in the last supper.

The works of the devil in people are usually obvious. Satan gets others to participate in division by inspiring anger, jealousy, rage, and violence and even killing so that they inflict great damage on God’s work and others doing God’s work. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

5. Satan is always destroying life, relationships, and corrupting souls for his use. He is a thief and a liar and his deeds get exposed. How many of you know people who have their lives full of broken-ness and destruction? They don’t even realize satan is using them!

It is ironical and hypocritical that many people have hurt others in their past very deeply and yet they complain of the hurt others have done to them! We reap what we sew! But then there are as well people who have just been victims of evil people!

And what about satan’s deeds amongst God’s people? Could it be that there are personalities amongst us as Peter that most of the time are spiritual and even leaders, but sometimes they, out of their anger or pride, damage the good that someone of God is doing? 

6. There is a phenomenon in life. Most people think that they are the center of the universe! Most people never see the big picture of what God is trying to do in their lives, of what God’s long-term plan with the whole group is! This was the case of Peter and Judas! They were accusers against Jesus’ words and deeds and God’s plan! 

Peter was so proud that he was following the “Son of God” so lifted up that he was bolder and smarter than the others, but at the same time so unaware of his own personal defects! Do we see others near us blind to their own personal defects?

Don’t forget Peter denied Jesus 3 times and God let that happen in order to smash his pride into nothing! In order to embarrass him as the least bold in front of all so that he would radically change and finally become useful enough to do God’s will and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ! Can you relate to this in your own life?

7. Peter’s pride was offended that Jesus announced that he would die and be raised up again! No! How could that be the future for the Son of God? Peter did not want to be following a “loser”, he could not let Jesus be murdered like that! His pride and joy leader could not become a symbol of rejection, humiliation, and death! Peter was not a good listener because Jesus says at the time that He will be raised up! That was a supernatural miracle transcending everything!

Peter was accusing Jesus of being wrong! Peter is only focusing on the negative. Peter did not see the bigger picture of God’s work, and that is just like so many of us in the church! How many of you know people who only focus on the negative? They always comment the most negative things for everything because they never believe nor foresee that there is something good at work in God’s plans? 

8. So how can satan use even the best of people? When people do not have things their way, when they can’t be the center of the attention, when someone says or does something that they don’t like, instead of praying, instead of holding their words until they find out more of what is happening, instead of asking God what are you doing and changing in my life even though I do not understand, these people explode like Peter!

I lost count of the number of times I have seen people in their own carnal reactions without the holy Spirit just explode and speak all kinds of evil against other brothers and sisters, against the leaders, against the Captains, against their Corps or the Salvation Army, all done in their ignorance, anger, destructiveness and their unawareness of that they are being used by satan!

That is the accusatory satan that can get into any one of us, “the accuser of the saints” that should be rebuked by someone, corrected by some leader in the church! Jude 1:9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee!

9. It is confusing when we see such a strong leader as Peter be so carnal at times! It happens in the church! I believe a person who has had Jesus for years, a person who walks in real (not pretended) holiness having the Holy Spirit as their guide, usually is protected from satan’s attacks, but we all must all watch out & pray without ceasing!

Satan uses any situation to make us explode in anger, to divide us, to make us think we are justified to criticize and condemn someone else over some word or action that they did, but the reality is when we rebuke a righteous person who has God on their side, we are opening ourselves up to get a rebuke, as in the case of Peter! 

I understand legitimate complaints and there are mistakes made by people, misunderstandings sometimes, and these can be fixed over a friendly meeting and a conversation, but people who allow their selves to speak condemnation and accusations as Peter need to ask their selves, is satan using me? Have you seen satan use someone you know in the past?

Satan has used most of us in times past to some degree due to our ignorance and immaturity. But what does God need to do in your life, what humiliation does he need to allow, how hot does God need to allow the fire of the trials in your life to be in order to purge out all of the impurities and carnal behaviors you have?

10. Don’t forget that if you do not accept a rebuke and humble yourself and repent, you will end up like Judas! Peter repented in tears, but Judas wanted to show he was in charge! He was not going to get humiliated by Jesus! Jesus was not doing what he wanted for him nor for the Zealots, so he just betrayed him!

So many so-called Christians betray their own brothers and sisters, betray their own pastors or Captains, and the church they attend because they, like Judas, never accepted that God wanted them to be humbled and radically changed! 

Instead, they always wanted to change the mission, God’s plan of what the church should do! This was Peter and Judas problem! They always criticized and wanted to change the message of the leader and pastor. This was Peter and Judas problem! They always wanted to show off that they knew more than everyone else, that they were more spiritual! Satan used Peter and Judas because they had a pride problem!   

11. The instruments of satan always think they are always right, and others are always wrong! They believe their spirituality is superior and more dedicated than anyone else. They always say divisive things!      

The question is, has satan been in your thoughts and actions lately? Some are so quick to proclaim their own goodness, that we reject Halloween, that one never drinks, that we fast and pray, but how are we on the scale of pride going against Jesus? Pride is everyday temptation and is serious, vs. a holiday that is not taken seriously by some! 

Has satan used you to bring accusations, dissentions, betrayals amongst the saints? Satan knows he is an ugly creature who brings death, but few really recognize him for his subliminal works, for his works of accusing, dividing, and destroying the good that God is doing!

12. We resist satan, the thief, the destroyer, the liar, the murderer, the accuser of the saints and Lord help us to rebuke and expose his words and works when we see them manifest in some weaker brother or sister!  Let’s focus on the good! Let’s focus on the positive! Let’s focus on Jesus!

At the name of Jesus, the devil flees! Especially when a saint is on his knees!

Be aware of satan’s devices, not just on holidays, but remember Jesus beat satan once and for all, Jesus cancelled the death sentence satan brought us, and the wonderful thing is we can call on Jesus anytime! Jesus frees us from satan’s influence, temptations, and subliminally devious cultural traditions.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

2. Have you ever tried to reason with a crazy person? You never can win an argument with them because they always justify their way of being, and their evil deeds. They don’t repent, instead, they gloat! There are different kinds of “crazy” in the world, but quite often it is due to an evil spirit possession. The evil people of the world are always raising up evil spirits to influence the youth, the weak, and those that leave behind their faith in Jesus! 

 

Jesus says trying to convert these kinds of people is like trying to reason with a wild dog or pig.  Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Groups of wild dogs or pigs can kill you! This is why so-called protesters for evil causes always gather in crowds, they have more power together. Evil people want to create a hive mentality so everyone will be overcome by evil!

 

I am bringing this matter of evil up because every year in October we have a whole month of horror films coming out of Hollywood, all the merchants in town also promote evil looking costumes and decorations, and evil decorated houses for Halloween reveal how much people are fascinated by death and evil spirits. Often in this moth there are mass murders as well!

 

3. As Christians we are to abstain from evil and the appearance of evil. It is evident that the further away from Christianity this nation has drifted, the more evil has become the replacement for what our culture indulges in. ‘Halloween retail spending was estimated at $12.2 billion in 2022. They spent a record $108 per person, according to the National Retail Federation's annual survey’ (Google).

 

Many Christians have been tricked into leaving behind the healthy, good, and Godly habits we once had in society, and it is wreaking havoc on everyone. This slow acceptance of violence and evil, of perversions and filth is in direct disobedience to the scriptures as we just read, 21 ‘Prove all things; hold fast that which is good’. Evil is prevailing today because not enough Christians are demanding that the beautiful good things of God be the dominant theme in our communities. 

 

Evil is very seducing! When you see it in movies, hear it in amazingly catchy pop songs, and read about evil people getting away with murder as political and famous characters do, one starts to subliminally get convinced that the dark side might just be more exciting and powerful! Christians must speak against evil! Jesus warned us to ‘watch and pray’ and to resist temptation, any one of us can fall to evil, and Satan will deceive the very ‘elect’ or saved if you and I let him by not staying connected to Him!

 

4. I think all Christians should get very disturbed by how our society is filling up with hypocritical dysfunctional dystopian crazy evil people who mock and persecute the people of God while glorying themselves in their horrific acts. Even those who murder seem to escape as if all is normal politics and acceptable!

 

Satan knows how to play games with the average shallow, uneducated, non-Christian who does not have the Holy Spirit, as he tricks their minds to respect him and evil and offer evil as the solution from the evil in the world. But you and I know we cannot fight fire with fire! Vengeance is of the Lord! Romans 12:17

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

 

Observe how the same old pattern works. Satan inspires evil in people, these people do horrific things to others exploiting them for sex or labor, or even murdering them, then the abused get bitter and hate filled, so they murder these oppressors and even innocent ones as well in retaliation. So, whether it be for revenge or for pleasure, division and murder is accomplished to destroy the beautiful human lives God created. Never fall for hate of another by propaganda, Jesus commands us to love, even enemies!

 

5. Every year, there is an overrated movie, such as the ‘Joker’ that has the same old theme of Satan trying to invoke sympathy for himself. I don’t even need to see this movie to conclude its contents; it is centered around the idea that we should feel sorry for the abused mentally disturbed (demon possessed) people to the point we understand and accept it when they murder others! After all, certain people deserve to be hated and murdered, right? Righteous people in society will not show respect for the perverse evil delusional demonic crowd and in consequence the evil ones want to kill them! The same as it was with Jesus and the hypocrites in his day! 

 

How sick and self-destructive are the appetites of so many as they enjoy seeing violence done to others, but they never want to be the victim of a violent act! Here is the irony, when violence is done in real life, when evil is done as suggested people carry out as in movies, songs, and fake media, then people lose their minds!

 

You soon hear the decrying, ‘How horrible are guns and violence, how sad that our mentally ill are neglected, how is it that no one makes the pharmaceutical companies, the doctors, or the individual be responsible! Such was the case with the Colorado mass shooting when James Holmes went in like a ‘Joker’ to kill everyone he could! 6. Parents that let their kids play murderous video games 6- hours a day, who love evil movies where evil characters are exalted, who abuse their kids with violence and vulgar language, who medicate them with meds from greedy pharmaceutical companies are indeed a part of the problem of the ills plaguing our society. 

 

Before it use to be that 70% of the local kids went to church and everyone had a debt with their neighbor in society to be honest, good, truthful, kind, respectable, and reasonable. Those that did not grow up in the 50s, 60s, and even 70s, do not even know how good it was to feel safe with good neighbors and have unlocked front doors!

 

Currently stats show about 20% of kids are going to church and what do we deal with today? Kids that are dishonest, bad, liars, mean, disrespectful, and unreasonable. Because parents, educators, and Christians have not done their job correctly in punishing evil. 7. And how did it happen that Christians have had their hands tied and voices muted in most every public square across the country!? A person who will rise up and preach decency, common sense, Biblical values, and punishment for evil offenders and lawbreakers is quickly mocked, ostracized, and shamed! They might even be labeled as a terrorist like some mothers were about a year ago when they spoke up on what was happening in the schools! We must pray that we as Christians do not lose our love for others as Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 

 

Apart from not participating in Halloween, not going to subversive evil movies, and doing our part to be decent and good, what more can we do to stop evil? Our only hope is Jesus! His Word is like water on the fire of evil! Evil people will not hang around if the subject is going to be Jesus, righteousness, and how to combat evil! Start with yourself, if you are an example of purity and holiness, others will notice, and your light will shine. But speak up too! Denounce evil! 

 

8. We must practice more what we know as in James 4:7 

‘Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’ The devil always tries to get you to ‘turn’ to his dark side by shaming you, intimidating you, mocking you, and exhausting you to the point you give up in your battle to be righteous and good! But never, never, never give up!

 

Let’s revert back to what was in scripture after we learned we must avoid evil and the appearance of evil, 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

What we see here is a prayer for us that we should pray this for each other! If we are to be ‘holy’, then we must sanctify ourselves (by reading God’s Word, praying, and supporting one another) and we must guard our spirit, soul, and mind! If we do then we will be blameless and ready to face the Lord when we die. And you could die today, never think you can do bad now and repent later, you may never get the chance! Satan does reap souls often times and God lets him if the person is given over to him. 

 

9. Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. When the culture of a nation enters a season in which it is celebrating a holiday that has its founding roots in evil, such as with Halloween, we should be praying more that we conquer dark evil with the light of Jesus!

 

Israel of old got severely punished and taken away as slaves when they abandoned the worship of God and worshipped Satanic gods such as Baal, Ashtoreth, and Moloch. Today abortionists and secret Satanic cults continue to sacrifice children. Halloween is no joke to some, they truly do practice evil. How did we ever accept equating provoking fear as something fun worthy of a sweet reward?

 

I know many will celebrate Halloween no matter what I or the preachers say, but all of us should remind others that we must avoid the appearance of evil, and avoid evil itself as well!  Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. Satan gets others to accept evil when it is done in a joking manner, or a fun manner, but we must be wise to his tricks. His tricks carry no treat, but rather an infernal consequence unless we repent and get Jesus to clean us and save us!

Joel 1:5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

 

2. How awake are you right now? Pinch the person beside you and see if they react? Oh, they did, so there is proof we all can feel through our physical bodies! But what about our spiritual bodies? Do you feel things in your spirit? When hearing music or looking at art can you get a vibe of what spirit it is from, a good one or a bad one? How much of a new person in Christ are you?

 

I am addressing this issue as I find that many people today are going to asleep spiritually, (and they often label themselves as “woke”) and their insensitivity to God’s laws causes them to be in a dulled stupor, and they do not discern what is good or bad anymore. This is due to ‘inversion’, as ‘woke’ today does not mean ‘awake’ to the truth, but the opposite! Unless a person has repented completely and truly given their entire lives to Jesus, their hearts souls and minds, then they are incapable of knowing Christ and having the mind of Christ, and His mind is very consciously awake!  1 Corinthians 2:16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

 

People today have become dull, asleep, and indifferent and many claim it is chemicals in the water, the air, or the drugs (prescription or illegal). Also, in the pop entertainment messages, there is something terribly mind-controlling and we must wake up to see is that there is a number of things warping people’s perceptions, consciousness, and ability to have common sense and judgement. Our whole system is designed to make people be asleep in the spirit! How is it a majority of the people have lost common sense discernment and they can’t even define if a woman is a woman or not?! How is it that many do not see that being ignorant, or asleep, to the things of God has confusing repercussions and consequences?

 

3. What confusion the world is in today!... But we knew it was coming, but the answer is always found in the Sacred Scriptures. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. We are living in dangerous times, and we have never seen corruption, perversion, and idiocy legitimized and promoted in our face as we have in recent years. Perdition has exponentially augmented this century and when the anti-Christ arrives, most everyone, because they are asleep spiritually, will blindly worship him.

 

Most Christians understand that the ‘falling away’ implies that many ‘so called’ Christians will leave the church and be overcome by the doctrines of devils. This is clearly happening. We see people leaving the faith and it breaks our hearts! It hurts to see people not care about you, and our brothers and sisters, the Bible, or the mission of helping those suffering anymore! What made them fall asleep?  

 

I get upset at the sight that people let their lights go out and their love and hearts grow cold! I have to fight this temptation as well, to not care, to just give up, but I refuse to give up on saving souls because how could I fail Jesus?! Jesus convicts me to stay faithful! Satan tempts everyone with discouragement all the time to try to get you or me to say, ‘the hell with it all!’ We all keep on for the love of God and for the salvation of the lost! If in our lives you and I only win a dozen souls to Jesus, it will be worth it all!

 

4. Reflecting on this matter, on people who get blinded by their desires over God’s will, overcome by the world’s trends, I am reminded of this verse, 1 John 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

 

This verse is key as it mentions the lust of the eyes, you may see a person’s eyes open, but they are often quite shut on the inside, asleep to knowing God’s will and light. Think about it, most people in the entire world today are getting 2 to 8 hours of screen time and their eyes are seeing anything they please, either good things, or seductive, perverse, & immoral things. And just from looking at the wrong things people get addicted and in chains spiritually because they go to sleep not perceiving what has happened to their spirit.

 

Habits are like strings that become ropes and then heavy chains! We all have grown up on entertainment, too much of it, and I see the world like one scene from ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Alice and the travelers were warned to not sleep where the flowers were, which is like our parents and church leaders who warn us and others to not linger in the zones of temptations. But what often happens? The young ones, the weak ones, and the spiritually lazy ones do not take the wise advice and they don’t fight against the toxic environment, and they end up lying down and going to sleep! And then it is when all evil attacks and takes over them! 

 

5. We have often heard about the analogy of the caterpillar that transforms into a butterfly and often we might compare it to a person when they receive Jesus, and they transform totally. This is a good example of what it means to be a new creature! The old ground is left behind, and the new is something that is on a whole different plane of existence. You and I were once a common worm but now we have become something majestic, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live in the dimension of God’s beautiful Spirit world seeing things as Jesus saw them. This is a true awakening, a rebirth!

 

Now I will postulate this, those that turn their back on God and go along with the world’s delusional drunken influences never do the step of going into the cocoon. They just slept instead, and until now have never woken up! To grow in God, you must work at it, you must ask God to reveal to you everything about yourself so you can change all things and die to yourself and start a new life praying and obeying His Word. It is a time-out with God growth phase that is missing in the lives of many! The pastor can’t do it for you either even though each one guides with the Word of God, but each person is responsible for their own awakening change, to want to be remade in God’s image as clay in the hands of the potter. God will do it, but he needs our commitment, obedience, and rebirth.

 

I can tell you my testimony on how I transformed, I moved far away from friends who were prisoners of their own destructive lusts so I would not be tempted to continue with their addictions and habits which the world praises as ‘cool’ or ‘woke’. I started memorizing Bible verses, one a day, and did that for almost 3 years. I also read the Word of God one hour or more daily, and I prayed usually for 15 minutes or more. And then I agreed to do a long service mission work, deciding to leave behind my possessions (idols such as guitars, LP records, & guru spiritual books etc.) And when one arrives in a foreign land as I did (Brazil), and you do not know the language, and your mission is to evangelize and pray with the folks on the street, it will drive you to desperately seek God for help! I literally cried to learn Portuguese so I could be effective for Jesus! 14 years of battles in South America toughened me up and I saw miracles and lives changed by sharing the Word of God! 

 

6. So what is causing people to sleep, spiritually? It is all of man’s creations and Satan’s as well! Some people claim the fluoride in the water hardens the pineal gland in the brain so that your internal spiritual receptor can no longer receive discernments and premonitions as our parents use to be able to. I cannot be an export on that but obviously many physical things ingested are severely hampering our bodies and minds and this affects our reasoning abilities.

 

Others claim that our air is the problem; being sprayed from above with the chemicals of lithium and aluminum for cloud formations, and our brains store up these things, dulling our human brains on a mass scale. And read up on 5G; many observe that this will cook our brains like in a microwave oven! Since Satan is the ‘prince of the air’, we are sure he manipulates these things. Ephesians 2:2

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Many things pollute the body and damage our normal abilities to discern as we should.

 

Since about half of the population takes pills for all kinds of ills, many people think this is a principal factor clouding people’s minds, provoking our societal mental dysfunctionalities; and drunkenness, or getting ‘high’, as well enslaves mega millions! Many are working too many hours, so they are gaining money for the body’s desires, but they are starving their souls. In the end the conclusion is our population in mass is being downgraded so that you or I can be easily manipulated by evil spirits who program the people of the world to reject Jesus, and all things healthy. 

 

7. Comparing God’s “awoken-ness” to the “wokeness’ of the world we observe the educational systems are now indoctrination factories. Also, over and over glamourized by musicians and entertainers with their illuminati hand signs and messages, the deception that immorality, perversions, and excessive materialism is exciting and a requirement for being fulfilled in life.  But wide is the gate that leads to destruction! And those not warned, these of this new generation of folks who often appear as zombies glued to flashing screens, are unaware of how they are enslaved by darkness. Only Jesus can cause a person to see through the programing of these enslaving destructive hooks for what they are and break free. 

 

As fuel to the fire, the majority of the movies, books, and songs created are repeatedly utilized to offend and assault us, the Christians! Wake up and ask, yourself, why do they attack Jesus followers (and no other faiths) so much? Because knowing Jesus is the only way one can become totally free from their deceptive addictive tricks designed to keep you and me enslaved to their illuminati systems so you consume and consume from their evil plate until you destroy your body, mind, and soul. And then Satan gains his total grip! 

 

Forgive this analogy, but a person without Jesus is comparable to a zombie, a lifeless creature that has no purpose and all it does is destroy everything in it’s path! And Satanists actually consume human blood and flesh! How sick the world really is! The line in ‘Amazing Grace’ rings so true, ‘I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind, but now I see.’ Those in sin never see it as sin, the blind are leading the blind today as never before! Blindness and a deep sleep overtaking so many because Jesus is not getting into their hearts, minds, and souls!

 

8. The Lord commands us to wake up! See the evil everywhere, the hardened hearts and the dull minds! Judges 5:12 Awake, awake, Deborah (women leaders): awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak (men leaders), and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam. The leaders of old were told to go and awake their people with songs of the Lord, with the message that the ones captive in the spirit can now become the captors to dominate their enslavers! This is what we need to understand today! 

 

This is our mission, to wake up, and then to wake up others with the knowledge of Jesus! We can see it clearly, Satan has taken over the world in all aspects, in the physical realm with toxic substances, in the mental realm captivating minds to be hooked on the fake worlds of entertainment, false religions, news and politics, and in the Spirit his demons manipulate others to do crimes and evil abominable perverse works of destruction! 

 

The only hope for anyone is Jesus! No “woke” political or philosophical movement will ever be victorious in dominating the evils in the world, only Jesus’ return can do that. Jesus warned us of this: John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. Not just from the synagogues, from all other religious movements as well! Note that atheistic communists have murdered a hundred million people within the last century!

 

9. So how can you or I wake others up to how they are captive and asleep by means of illusions by the devil’s design? How can we help people see the devil is using them to be a part of the problem, a part of the controlled systems, and not a part of the solution? I think the only hope, is the same hope that saved us, and that is Jesus! Like water on the fire! Jesus is the new wine as in Joel 1:5 that wakes us up, and it does not put us to sleep!

 

You and I can only pray that others will receive Jesus for real and become a new creation in God! Salvation in the end is a personal matter, we can share Jesus’ message with others, but it is up to them to act upon it, obey, and do their part. Asking for the Holy Spirit to guide them to grow in faith is also a must! 

 

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Our part is to share the message of Jesus, pray for the lost souls, and then be there when they need us when they are in the middle of the battle against the demons trying to hold onto them. Millions escape, but some go back. Do your part, wake up someone with God’s Word today! Awaken the woke that all the systems are evil, yet God’s kingdom is beautiful, just, enlightening, and liberating!

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from every form of evil. 3 John 1:11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

 

2. How many of you have watched ‘youtube’ videos of someone getting beat up or being run over by a car and no one stops to help them? It makes you feel sick to see the evil and the indifference of the people, doesn’t it? How disturbing to know we live in a world where few have a heart for those suffering! Satanic indifference and hate produce the same effect, a lack of love for another that could save a life or a soul! It’s a direct disobedience to loving our good God and loving our neighbor as ourselves! Unloving sick people fail to realize that that victim could be them one day!

 

I know my wife and daughter, myself, and anyone with a conscience at all has felt sick to see a video of a person being cruel to an animal or to another human being. And do you recall only a few years ago there were horrific videos of people being beheaded, burned alive, and executed? The murder of Christians continues in dozens of countries and how disturbing very few speak up against this! 

 

These things make you feel sick enough to vomit, and make you feel angry at the wicked people who murder, torture, and destroy God’s innocent people. And have you seen pictures of destroyed cities where evil people have waged war? Think of Africa, Syria, Iraq, or of dozens of cities which have recently been demolished by invaders, making millions of families homeless to move with nothing in their hands. Imagine being sent out in a desert with nothing at all!

 

3. Jesus came to teach all of humankind to love one another, but what do people who do not know Him, or do not accept Him, do? They hate, kill and rob! They hate anyone different from their sinful self selves over differences of ever-changing politics, religious convictions, or certain lifestyle choices. Hate is like an infectious disease and people without the cure, which is Jesus and living in obedience to God’s word, are condemned to carry out evil on those they dislike. This evil in the hearts and minds of the devoid, seriously damages others by their evil words and acts. Their evil also destroys their own soul as stated in Romans 6:23 ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord’.  

 

‘Hate’ today is a hot topic! Usually, you see people holding signs saying ‘Stop the Hate’ while they are the ones red faced ranting and raving, accusing, and defaming, even bearing false witness over how things are not how they want them to be. The question is, Is there any system anywhere in the world that is flaw free and making everyone perfectly happy?’ The answer is, no! People who want to do evil are never happy with God’s people battling against them!

 

The answer to broken systems has always been to change the system, but problems will always continue as the new system brings within itself a whole new set of problems. Venezuela and dozens of countries prove that in the name of fairness and equality and helping the poor much damage can and will happen, so everyone must wise up and be extremely careful as to what changes are being demanded. The righteous must not back down nor cave to the relentless attacks of the erroneous ones who demand change excluding God, love, and freedom to worship Jesus. Evil people always seek power by all means possible!

 

4. David was ‘a man after God’s own heart’, so let’s see what he has to say about evil and ‘hate’. Hate is a passionate rejection (which usually involves inciting anger), an abhorrence, to loathe, and to despise.  

Psalm 5:5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You (God) hate all workers of iniquity. (God hates evil and those who practice it)

Psalm 11:5 The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates. (God hates those who bring on violence) 

Psalm 21:8 Your hand will find all Your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate You. (God knows who are the ones who hate Him)

 Psalm 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. (God will allow evil people to be defeated and God is on the side of the persecuted to defend the righteous, which are the true Christians)

 

We can conclude from hundreds of verses in the Bible that…Psalm 7:11 ‘God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day’! God’s purpose for all of us is to live as in ‘The Kingdom of God’ blessed, happy, healthy, and with peace loving Him and one another as we obey Jesus commands. But rebellious God hating people are not having any of that in their life as they want to raise hell, sew dissention, and divide and conquer hating (while accusing others of hate) those who defend God’s statutes, Jesus, and love. We fight to stop hate & the devil!

 

There are people so perverted with evil, including many world leaders from de-generate family blood lines, that they will never submit to loving God and his humble servants. If one would, it would come only by a miracle from Jesus! Submission to Jesus is opposite to the oppressive pyramid paradigms they rule by. Satan controls this world by evil, and Jesus came to destroy his cruel kingdoms! 

 

5. Listen to their words, evil people will overtly or covertly declare that they ‘hate’ God, and they insult Him by denying that He exists or by breaking every law in His book; the law to love your neighbor above all! These extreme ignorant ones claim the Bible is a lie and contains worthless fables. How ignorant is this claim as any historian knows much of the Bible’s record of past cities and tribes are provably real. The Bible is the most important book in the world exposing evil!

 

Most haters as well reveal that they hate Jesus and His people, the Christians. But as a mirror God reflects back to people what they send up to Him. 

Psalm 18:26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward (defiant and aggressive) thou wilt shew thyself froward.

 

All people will reap what they sew; if one sews love, one reaps love. The same, if one sews hate, then hate you reap but much more than what you expected. Hosea 8:7 ‘For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind’. It is gross ignorance to believe one can mock God’s laws or people and not suffer the consequences! In the end, God’s laws are universal and it is common sense to respect others and God so as not to invite anger and wrath on yourself!

 

6. So as Christians how are we to respond to this evil generation of ‘haters’? Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. There are times to battle and times to evade.

 

In general, we must avoid getting involved with troublemakers who have offensive mouths, who spew hate and promote violence. To join them in their ‘group think’ is to make one’s self an instrument of them and a fool. You cannot fight them on their level as they entice you to do. Proverbs 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Don’t participate in evil in the cultures!

 

The Holy Spirit must give you and me wisdom and we must not get involved with people who shout out slogans that most usually are misleading with ulterior objectives. Proverbs 14:15 ‘The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looks well to his going.’ Never be ignorant and conform to evil abusers.

 

7. As Christians, as lovers of God and of others, even being lovers of our enemies, we must learn tactics to control our anger, or we will insult back and sin in the same manner these haters do. Jesus always pulled the rug out from under evil hypocrites with questions and tactics that exposed their schemes.

One acceptable way of diffusing attacks is with diversion. Proverbs 26:5 ‘Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.’ You cannot have a serious conversation with an evil aggressive person who is attacking you so you must deflect away their words and vile mouth.

 

Here is an example of how to skew an attack. You might get mocked in a group (or by text) with a slogan, ‘I bet you drink the kool-aid of Fox News! Look everybody, a racist conservative religious freak!” These commonly repeated phrases imply that you will die from the poison that comes from hearing differing opinions from theirs, those whom they identify as on the wrong side. And to counter, on the defensive if you say, “You are wrong, you just can’t handle the truth!”, only brings on more mockery, cursing, vulgarity, and insults by these evil people.

 

In some cases you can divert like this,”Well, medieval kings made their selves strong by consuming small amounts of poison”. (Within yourself you know this is off subject, but it is replying folly for folly; it is just playing with their silly accusation of poison to unsettle them). So, do you see how preparation is needed to not fall into the argument trap of the haters who already have pre-schemed dialogues? They really will not listen, I know, I have tried, better is to spend your time with ‘sheep’ who want God’s word than with these rebellious evil goats.

 

8. Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

 

We cannot avoid getting attacked for our beliefs, faith, and Biblical worldview in this life! So, if you stand for Jesus, you might as well do it with boldness and let you light shine and remain strong through the attacks, deceptions, lies, humiliations, and hate coming from the evil people of perverse opposition. Do good always to prove you are a child of a good God! Abstain from evil! Onward Christian Soldiers! May your Cry of Battle make hell’s doors tremble! 

 

Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falls seven times, and rises up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. We will be free from reaping the consequences of evil by remaining faithful to our Lord and Savior, but we have to keep getting up back into the battle. 

 

9. Evil comes in many forms, by words and by deeds, and the counter is by the same, by words (God’s Word!) and by good deeds done for others in need. What is curious is even evil people will often leave you alone when you help and serve others. To fight evil we must do good in place of it! And pray God protects as well! 

 

For example, the Salvation Army in several countries have the circumstance of working in neighborhoods that are full of crime and gangs and it is dangerous work. But I know of several cases (Brazil, Jamaica, & U.S.) of how even the violent gangs do not bother us because they know that if they were to attack us who are doing good and helping others that it would bring on the ire and anger of the neighborhood people to the point they would turn them all in to the authorities. 

 

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Never lose sight as to who is going to win this battle against evil doers and haters, against those with terrible pride and arrogance: it is Jesus and His conquering army! And who is in that army? You and me, His soldiers who are already doing battle for Him saving as many souls as we can! A soft answer turns away wrath and the wisdom in of the Psalms and Proverbs guides us concerning evil and hate. Study to make yourself strong in God’s word and put yourself in the front lines so Jesus will use you to do good! Fear God and labor to save souls with Jesus and by this you will be countering the world’s evil, hate, pride, arrogance, perverse voices, corruption, violence, murder, and absence of love in our communities! God hates evil and we do too!
